- Complete dismantling of the track and switch grating
- Removal and disposal of existing track bed in the track and turnout area
- Track/switch grid mounted on the laying formation level, filled with track ballast tamped mechanically
- Existing shunting paths next to and between the conversion tracks were covered with a new cover for shunting paths made out of a granite-crushed sand-grit mixture (water-permeable and tread-proof)
- Installation of cable shafts and cable ducts, as well as pipe crossings
- Conversion of eight turnouts
- Track renewal of two tracks
- Rail replacement in three further tracks
